You are a new director at a small early childhood center in your town. On your first day of work, two staff members independently approached you to complain about teacher Annabele who has been at the school for two years. They are concerned about her work ethic. They each told you that the previous director played favoritism to Annabele. However, Annabele was not a team player in the center. The two teachers gave you similar stories about how Annabele would talk behind other teachers’ backs, came in late and left early, did not complete her assigned duties, and overall, just did not ‘fit in’ with the other staff.
